Issues of theory and practice of implementing legislation on crime prevention were discussed during the republican scientific-practical conference in Vitebsk

On the basis of the educational institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov", at the initiative of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a scientific and practical conference was organized and held on topical issues of theory and practice of enforcing legislation on crime prevention and other offenses, and supervision of the activities of inquiry bodies.

The conference was attended by employees of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, students and researchers of the university, representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office and the State Institution "Scientific and Practical Center for Problems of Strengthening Legality and Law and Order of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus", representatives of the prosecutor's offices of the regions, the city of Minsk, the Investigative Committee, the Ministries of Emergency Situations, Internal Affairs, Taxes and Duties, the State Customs Committee.

Based on the results of the conference, a collection of materials on the discussed topics will be prepared. In the future, the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office will continue cooperation with the educational institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov" in this area.
