The upbringing of young specialists is a common cause
16.08.2016, the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Committee of the Vitebsk Region jointly organized and conducted a training and methodological session for young investigators of the region.
At this event, A.V. Volkov, Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the region for supervision over the enforcement of legislation on minors and youth, highlighted issues of establishing juvenile justice in the republic for young investigators, and explained in detail the specifics of the functions and tasks of prevention entities involved in preventing juvenile delinquency and social orphanhood.
Using specific criminal cases as examples, the main tasks of an investigator in investigating crimes committed by minors were analyzed, focusing on identifying the causes and conditions that led a child to commit an unlawful act. Additionally, investigators were familiarized with problematic issues of interaction between investigative bodies and commissions for juvenile affairs, educational and healthcare institutions.
The session utilized materials from the practical supervisory activities of the prosecutor's offices, as well as visual computer slides with diagrams and explanations prepared by the regional prosecutor's office.
