The flag-raising ceremony of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival took place near the Summer Amphitheatre.

A new tradition was established not so long ago: during the юбилейный XXX-th. Now, five years later, it has become an integral part of the arts festival. Organizers strive to make each ceremony different from the previous one.

Thus, if last year it was held under the slogan "Time of New Victories," and the flag was raised by the head of the public association "Vitebsk Patriotic Club 'Poisk'" Larisa Brueva and young citizens, then this time this honor fell to young artists from the folk youth theater "Koleso."

The procedure itself was traditionally preceded by a small concert. During its final moments, the host, together with the audience, began a countdown, and the flag was raised, after which a festive salute lit up the sky.
