Friends' meeting
On August 30, on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the formation of the prosecutor's offices of the Pskov region, an open mini-football tournament "Skobar 2019" was held in the city of Pskov with the participation of teams representing the prosecutor's offices of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that are part of the Northwestern Federal District, to which athletes from the Vitebsk region prosecutor's office were also invited.
It should be noted that not only business but also friendly relations have been established between the prosecutor's offices of the Vitebsk and Pskov regions, which allow for systematic joint events for both current prosecutors and veterans of the prosecutor's offices.
And this time, the visit to the neighbors was not limited to sports competitions. An excursion to the new building of the Pskov region prosecutor's office was organized for the guests from Vitebsk. Issues of organizing supervisory activities were discussed with colleagues.
The sports part of the event allowed our footballers to meet again with Russian prosecutor friends who have not lost their football skills, with whom they competed in Moscow at Luzhniki ten years ago.
The exciting battles, in which our team lacked a little luck in an equal and tense struggle, did not leave indifferent either the participants of the competition themselves or the fans and invited guests.
Following the results of the tournament, awards and gifts were presented by the Prosecutor of the Pskov Region, State Counselor of Justice of the 2nd class, Sergey Dmitrievich Belov.
Until next time – this was the leitmotif of the parting with colleagues who have already become friends.
