Documents for the nomination of representatives to the Vitebsk Regional Commission for the Election of the President of the Republic of Belarus are accepted at the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee building at the address: Vitebsk, Gogol St., 6 (central entrance) from 8:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00 no later than October 31, 2024.

On the acceptance of documents for the nomination of representatives to the commissions for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus

The acceptance of documents for the nomination of representatives to the regional, district, Novopolotsk city, and city district commissions in Vitebsk for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus is carried out in the respective regional and city/district executive committees until October 31, 2024, inclusive.

Information on the place and time of document acceptance is posted on the official websites of the city/district executive committees.

Notice:

On November 4, 2024, at 9:00 AM, a joint meeting of the presidium of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies and the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee will be held at the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee building (Vitebsk, Gogol St., 6, office 42) to consider the issue of forming the Vitebsk Regional Commission for the Election of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

In accordance with Article 34 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus, representatives of political parties, other public associations, labor collectives, and citizens who have nominated their representatives to the commission are entitled to attend the meeting.

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informs that the powers of the specified persons are confirmed by an appropriate document, which may be: an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the organizational structure of a political party, public association, labor collective, a membership card; for citizens who have nominated a representative to the commission, a passport or other identity document.

On November 6, 2024, at 7:45 AM, the first organizational meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Commission for the Election of the President of the Republic of Belarus will be held (Vitebsk, Gogol St., 17, 1st floor), at which issues of electing the leadership and a number of organizational matters will be considered.

Notification on the adoption of decisions by city and district executive committees on determining places for conducting election campaigning

Vitebsk and Novopolotsk city and district executive committees have adopted decisions on determining places for conducting election campaigning. Decisions by district of Vitebsk region can be found on the websites of the respective executive committees.

In the Vitebsk region, 672 polling stations have been established, including 16 in hospitals, sanatoriums, rest homes, and other places of temporary voter stay, and 1 in military units.

The following are eligible to nominate their representatives to the precinct election commissions for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus:

political parties, other public associations; labor collectives of organizations, collectives of structural divisions of organizations;

citizens by submitting applications.

The acceptance of documents for the nomination of representatives to the precinct election commissions for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus is carried out exclusively until December 20, 2024, by the Novopolotsk City and District Executive Committees, and the administrations of the districts of Vitebsk city on working days.
