Off-site seminar

In Lepel, under the auspices of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus, a republican educational and methodological seminar was held on topical issues of law enforcement practice at the pre-trial stage of criminal proceedings.

The seminar was attended by a number of district prosecutors, heads of city police departments, emergency services, employees of the Investigative Committee Department for the Vitebsk region, the Internal Affairs Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the regional prosecutor's office, and the Vitebsk Regional Department for Emergency Situations.

During the training event, representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Emergency Situations made presentations.

On the topic "The coordinating role of the prosecutor in the interaction of law enforcement agencies at the stage of initiating a criminal case," the head of the department of the Vitebsk regional prosecutor's office for supervision of inquiry and operational-search activities, Grinkevich G.N., spoke, sharing his experience of interaction in the specified area of supervision.
