Deputy Prosecutor of Vitebsk Region Vladimir Guk met with members of the regional multidisciplinary group on cooperation in combating human trafficking

Deputy Prosecutor of Vitebsk region Vladimir Guk took part in a meeting of members of the regional multidisciplinary group with representatives of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Red Cross Society, a specialist from the mission of the International Organization for Migration in the Republic of Belarus, employees of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk Region, and other representatives of interested departments.

During the event, issues of combating human trafficking in the Vitebsk region, referral and reintegration of victims of human trafficking, specifics of providing assistance to victims were discussed, as well as the results of joint activities carried out by state, law enforcement agencies and public organizations in this area.

Following the meeting of the multidisciplinary working group, the participants signed a protocol aimed at improving the preventive work of interested organizations, services and departments in the field of combating human trafficking and providing assistance to victims.
