In the Vitebsk region, about 180 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, reported Mikhail Vishnevetsky, head of the main department for healthcare of the regional executive committee, during a meeting of the regional headquarters for combating the spread of coronavirus and protecting the population.

As of today, the situation with acute respiratory infections in the Vitebsk region continues to show a downward trend. Over the past day, it decreased by 19.4%, with a decline in almost all districts. Adults account for 78% of the incidence structure.

"The situation with pneumonia has practically remained at the same level, with a slight decrease in the last 24 hours. A good trend is observed with discharges. Yesterday, about 180 people with satisfactory condition were discharged. These are recovered patients and a small portion with mild forms who can continue treatment on an outpatient basis. These individuals do not have confirmed COVID-19," Mikhail Vishnevetsky said.
