Regional Executive Committee Meeting: Over a Thousand Large Families from Vitebsk Region to Receive Apartments This Year

This year, housing is planned to be built for 1.1 thousand large families in the Vitebsk region. This was announced by the Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction, Alexander Shidlovsky, during a meeting of the regional executive committee, according to BELTA.

In the current year, 325 thousand square meters of housing will be commissioned. "There are 66.5 thousand people on the waiting list for housing improvement in the Vitebsk region. Of these, 3.1 thousand are large families. This year, it is planned to build housing for 1.1 thousand large families," said Alexander Shidlovsky.

Large families will receive new housing in district centers and large cities. In Vitebsk itself, residential buildings will be constructed in quarter No. 9 of the Bilevo microdistrict, on Leningradskaya and Smolenskaya streets, in the area of Truda street, and elsewhere.
