Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee meeting: readiness certificates for the heating season must be obtained by September
In the Vitebsk region, all work on obtaining readiness certificates for heat energy consumers and departmental heat sources for the new heating season must be completed by September. This task was set today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee by its Chairman, Nikolai Sherstnev, during the review of the results of the past heating season.
According to him, events of the republican level are held on the eve of the next heating period, where the readiness of consumers and heat sources for operation is considered. The Vitebsk region is usually mentioned among the worst, as for one reason or another it is not 100% ready for the heating season. "But in two weeks we will complete this work, turn on the boilers and enter the inter-season period. Isn't it possible to plan everything and do it a month earlier? We need to analyze now who is involved in the preparation and where this process is stuck. Due to some five or six enterprises, the region spoils its image. Therefore, we need to pay attention to them and take them under control, work through this issue. I am setting you the goal: by September, all readiness certificates must be obtained," Nikolai Sherstnev emphasized.
The Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Vladimir Belous, informed about the main results of the past heating season. According to him, the inter-season period passed without failures. The enterprises of the fuel and energy complex and housing and communal services generally ensured a stable and reliable supply of fuel and energy to the economy and the population of the region.
Addressing topical issues, Vladimir Belous paid special attention to the need to take measures to reduce heat energy losses when supplying consumers and to reduce the debt of agricultural organizations for energy resources, which currently exceeds the total debt of all communal organizations in the region.
