According to the head of the administration, streets and sidewalks will be improved in the city, not only in the center but also in the private sector. It is planned to carry out major and current repairs of 28 apartment buildings. In addition, a 60-apartment building will be constructed in the young microdistrict in the north of the city.
This year, Glubokoye intends to renovate the hospital as well. A computed tomography scanner has recently been installed, and the polyclinic department will undergo renovation. "Half of the work on the reconstruction of the gymnasium for 1200 students has been completed. In addition to the building itself, better conditions for sports will be created: the stadium will be updated, where five classes can train simultaneously," said Alexander Shubsky.
The construction of a 25-meter, 4-lane swimming pool at the local sports and recreation complex is ongoing in the district center. Work has been carried out by 72%, and the pool itself needs to be equipped - Br1.5 million has been allocated for the completion of the work this year. In total, Br4.6 million will be spent on the construction of the facility. It is important for the townspeople, because some have to travel to the swimming pool in the neighboring Dokshitsy and Ushachi.
In total, about 100 facilities are to be put in order in Glubokoye before "Dazhynki". "We have some other ideas that we don't want to reveal yet. We will do something exclusive so that Glubokoye has even more interesting places for residents and guests. Our city is visited by 50,000 tourists annually," added the chairman of the district executive committee.
The work of industrial enterprises in the Glubokoye district was also discussed at the meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Local processing plants have a low capacity utilization. They mainly get milk and meat from farms in the district, but this is not enough, so raw materials are also supplied from the Minsk region. The district leadership has been instructed to eliminate this problem, including by working out the supply of raw materials from abroad.
