Venues to host Belarus-Russia forum of regions in 2024 examined

Preparations for the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia are already underway. Natalya Kochanova visited various places, including the concert hall Vitebsk, which had already hosted similar forums in the past. Redecoration is in progress in the concert hall. This is why many of the rooms, which participants of the art festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk have come to know, will become totally different. The head of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament noted that the festival represents a good example of unity of different countries and different cultures.

Natalya Kochanova remarked that Vitebsk Oblast has a lot of experience of interregional cooperation with Russians. However, the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will become another contact point. On the whole, the oblast's experience will also be useful for expanding the geography of the large-scale event.

The theme of the forum, specific venues, and the speakers, who will deliver speeches during the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, will be determined at a session of the organizing committee that has been established by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
